Privacy policy

A plain-language overview of the information involved in running the downloader and delivering temporary files.

Overview

This privacy notice explains the information that may be processed when you use YTMP3Download. The service is designed as a tool rather than an account platform, so the current front end does not require a user profile to start a media-processing job.

Technical information

Like most web services, the hosting and API infrastructure may process standard request information such as IP address, time, requested URL, browser or user-agent data, and error logs for security, rate limiting, reliability, and troubleshooting.

Video URLs and processing jobs

A URL you submit is sent to the API so it can read the source, create a job, and prepare the requested output. Job records can include a generated job ID, selected format and quality, processing status, video title or ID, timestamps, and error information.

Temporary media files

Finished media is intended for temporary delivery rather than permanent hosting. Download links expire, and scheduled cleanup removes expired jobs and old processing files according to the server configuration.

Cookies and local browser storage

The downloader may use session storage to remember an active job ID within the current browser session so progress can resume after a page reload. This is functional state, not an advertising profile.

Third-party services

The service relies on hosting, networking, and source-platform infrastructure to perform its functions. If analytics or advertising is added later, this policy should be updated before those services are enabled.

Your choices

You can stop using the service at any time, clear browser session storage, and avoid submitting URLs you do not want processed. For privacy questions, use the contact page.
